You don’t have to stand in the cold to witness the magic of the holidays. Dickinson State University, along with the Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce, has found a way to bring the magic of the holiday glow to you! We are developing a parade route around Dickinson that features businesses and residential areas “dressed in their holiday best.” Prizes will be awarded to the best decorated homes & businesses!
The reverse parade is a part of the community light up the town event to be held on Friday, November 30th, 2012. The event starts with “Holidays at DSU” from 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m., moves on to the reverse parade and concludes at the Prairie Hills Mall. We hope you and your family will take time to witness the splendor of the holiday season!
Rules and Regulations:
-Residential and business locations must be decorated in a family friendly manner. No explicit language or suggestive themes are allowed.
-We reserve the right to exclude listings from our mapping area. These exclusions may be based on, but not limited to, the density of participation in a particular area.
-Any residential or business locations who do not abide by the following rules listed above will be disqualified from receiving any prize packages.
